Audience Feedback

Audience feedback

.

The feedback we gained from our audience was generally positive and helpful. We filmed the feedback that was given and their reactions to our opening sequence. Our group was expecting negative feedback, but generally feedback was good and we found out that our camera work was very strong. The first group that gave us feedback was Kelly's group. Below you will find video's of the feedback we received, and what their thoughts were to our opening sequence.

Kellys group stated that they couldn't really categorise the genre of the film, hence that they would carry on watching the film. Alex stated that he did not really understand what was going on at first and why it kept on cutting to and from shots of London. Kelly also said that we used a good variety of shots. Overall the feedback we gained from kellys group was effective and i think our whole group went away and thought about what we could do to improve for the rest of our editing time. Kelly's group wanted to know what the significance of the London shot's were and felt as though it did not fit in, we agreed, but they knew the trouble we have had in our group and felt it was good for our group.

The next group that we gained feedback from was Sade's, Rachel and Zack's group. They stated that some of our shots were very uneven, and the camera work at some points could be improved. The framing when Dom is running along the canal, was the worse filming, but they did realise it was hard for us to film running alongside Dom. Sade thought we had in particular very good shots of some scenes, and the framing was accurate in selected shots. Again like Kelly's group they could not get to grips why we had included the London shots, but knew after we explained it was supposed to be based in London, they changed their opinion and thought it was good in a relevant way.

The next group who gave us feedback was Jenna's group. This group stated that the camera work could be improved, and was not the best. This was nothing new to us as we knew we has inaccurate framing and camera work at some points. Two of the group members also pointed out about the London parts, and again we explained the significance, most of them stated they would carry on and watch the film, which was a relief to us as we was generally expecting negative feedback. Jenna disagreed and gave us positive feedback, she said that she liked the different shots to London and was impressed with how it was all put together. We were very happy with these comments and thought after all our film couldn't be that bad.

The last group's feedback was fro the consortium students. We were happy with this groups comments, and i think they related to our opening sequence and could see that it was based in London, and knew the message we were trying to convey. One negative aspect they stated was again about the camera work in the last scene, but we were not surprised by this. Overall i think our group is happy with the feedback we received, and was not surprised by the negative aspects of the feedback that we got.
