How did we attract our audience..
Attracting a certain target audience takes alot of persuading in terms of "gripping" the audience, and making sure they want to carry on watching the film, and what we want them to see in our opening sequence.
We tried to make it interesting for our audience, but with the troubles that we have had with our group, it was hard for us to try and attract our target audience.
This is when we thought about introducing a certain storyline which outlines teenage issues which are becoming more and more common today. We thought that if we added in scenes which have high amounts of issues, the suspects of who are becoming pregnant which are at a young age, and who are taking the drugs, they would be able to see their reflections and what they look like, hopefully they will realise what they are getting themselves into.

we used title credits to create a description of the scene which would then make the audience want to watch on. The title writing is white which covers a black background, which then fades out into the shot's. This connotes a sense of mystery and a sense of rebelling, making the audience not want to look away from the television.
another way in which we tried to attract out audience was the use of no dialogue. By not using dialogue we added in an upbeat bass tune over the imaging which again creates a sense of mystery and an unknown troublesome environment.
To gain audience feedback i created a questionnaire, which asked what they thought of our overall opening sequence, titles, editing and so on. The feedback we gained was generally positive, but occasionally the audience felt that they did not know what was going on in the film and could not quite figure out the genre.

The feedback we gained was generally positive, but occasionally the audience felt that they did not know what was going on in the film and could not quite figure out the genre.

i also produced an audience feedback questionnaire, which included easy and simple questions for me to gain efficient feedback.
The questions i asked were mainly about the genre, and if they understood it or not, and how they would change certain things about our film.
From assessing 10 questionnaire's from different age ranges, i gathered that the younger generation felt that they could relate to our film, and understood it, as well as the genre, due to real life experiences.
The older generation as in grandparents, could not relate as much to this, due to when they were younger their youth would have been completely different, in which they would have experienced different concepts on their youth.
Most of our feedback also consisted of reasons why we had included London parts in our film, many people commented and said they did not really know what the London shots were all about, and why they were in there, and if they were meant to be there, what would be the significance of them.
The film rating we gave our film would be a 15/18, due to the fact it includes high amounts of drug use, pregnant women, as we would not like to influence the younger generation to grow up like the people in our opening sequence. It would not be appropriate for us to rate the film any younger then that as younger generations should not come into contact with dangerous substances, and it is a very crime like opening sequence.
